Kill All Queues with advance tickets from wegottickets.com ------------------------------------------- With a four year history of promoting the finest sleaze rock to a discerning crowd, KILL ALL HIPPIES are proud to announce their new home, the legendary SCALA in London's Kings Cross, from Saturday 21st May (and every 3rd Saturday of the month). Yes, that's an additional move, from Friday to Saturday nights! The fully amped stage will host the finest new music, fully endorsed by XFM's Eddy Temple-Morris who'll be joined by residents, Jeff Automatic & DJ Syrinx. Playing the hottest pre-hyped rock, low-slung skank and limited edition beats KILL ALL HIPPIES has been described as being: "London's original, pioneering live/club much-imitated success." Time Out Our headline act this month are THE CRIMEA, a multi-national East London based five piece, who, after attracting an A&R scrum at last years SXSW signed a worldwide deal with Warners in the States. The band has just completed a sold-out US tour supporting Ash and The Bravery. Friends and fans of the band include: Primal Scream, Ash, Kings Of Leon, Travis and Zane Lowe to name but a few... Look out for the bands debut EP in May which will be followed by their album 'Tragedy Rock'. "The music veers from the perfect hooks of Elvis Costello and The Pixies, to the rawness of Neil Young" Kerrang! Also gracing the stage is Wall of Sound's new trophy piece, THE INFADELS, who have a highly intense anticipated debut LP due to drop over the summer (produced by Jagz Kooner). Originally called Citizen Kaner, THE INFADELS are a spelling mistake of a Bob Dylan album. Witness what all the fuss is about! So hot they're boiling - unsigned band THREE MILES FROM will be showcasing their talent. A spit of a young Eddie Vedder, the lead singer is attracting a maelstrom of attention. Adding further panache to rock history, uber-producer duo, Jagz Kooner & Richard Clouston will be launching The Fun House in Room 2. THE FUN HOUSE takes its name from Iggy & The Stooges' old home where Jagz Kooner (remixer/producer to all those who rock) & fellow musical maverick, Richard Clouston (curator of the Cosey club where the likes of Andrew Weatherall / Bobby Gillespie / Richard Fearless have graced the decks) have taken inspiration for the evening from the wise words of Bill Hills 'I want my Rockstars dead!'. The boys have already blackmailed a plethora of rock'n'roll reprobates to shift some wares on the wheels of steel. With a policy of musicians and producers only being allowed to play AMAZING records - NO CRAP! The first guest is Paul Epworth, producer of Bloc Party and Futureheads. This is dirt fuelled music at its finest! KILL ALL HIPPIES is supported by TuneTribe.com, the brainchild of Groove Armada's Tom Findlay and Interesource as an anti-corporate alternative download site. Artists don't pay a penny to sign-up, and get 80% of every purchase. They even set their own rate for each track. The live sets at KILL ALL HIPPIES will be recorded and be downloadable 36 hours after the event! Collect soon to be classic live sets, from soon to be huge artists. -------------------------------------------
